What does a Catless exhaust do?
Catless downpipe is an aftermarket downpipe that does not equip any catalytic converter (CAT). This is done to remove exhaust restrictions – allowing exhaust gases to flow faster and spool the turbo even harder. These CATs exist to convert toxic exhaust gases into non-toxic ones.
Is Catless louder than Catted?

Going catless has the benefits of eliminating restrictions in your exhaust + reduces back pressure on the engine to allow for more airflow, thus more power. Eliminating the cats will also have the added benefits of reducing weight, and therefore incremental performance gains.

as far as HP gains you will get answers all over the place but we did a back to back test with a couple different systems and average gains were about 15-20whp with a full down-pipe back system with no cats compared to the stock system.

I installed a ZZP Downpipe and it’s about 3-4 times louder than it was with only the muffler delete and resonater delete. If you want to be heard from half a mile away, the downpipe will do it.
